blackglassdevelopment // high-end web, only
We don’t build websites. We build positions that compound.
A small number of clients a year. Each build is underwritten on one question: what does it return.
01 / mandate
One studio. One discipline. High-end web, and nothing else.
Black Glass does one thing at a level most teams reserve for their flagship. No brand sprints, no retainers-of-everything. We build a small number of sites a year for people who already know the difference a great one makes.
The list is short on purpose. Restraint is the product.
02 / thesis
Outcomes over outputs. We build things that print.
A website is not a deliverable here. It is an instrument with a job: convert, retain, command a higher price, close a better customer. Before we write a line, we agree on the number it should move.
If the site doesn’t change a number on a P&L, we didn’t build the right one. Most of what we decline isn’t a budget problem. It’s a thesis problem.
03 / method
Underwrite. Build. Hand you an asset, not a project.
A short, deliberate sequence. No theatre, no relay, no dashboards of vanity metrics.
04 / discretion
Most of our work you will never see.
There is no client list here. No logo wall, no case-study carousel. The people we build for value not being a line in someone’s portfolio, and we return that respect in kind.
What we’ve done, we discuss in person, under the right terms, with the right introduction. Access, not browsing. Private by design isn’t a tagline; it’s the operating model.
05 / init
How this goes
One message. Tell us who referred you, or tell us the number you’re trying to move. We read everything; we answer a few. There is no form with twelve fields, no request-a-quote, no calendar wall. The friction is the filter.
